Bad Design at JMU

The design for the Starbucks in Rose Library (ECL) at JMU works perfectly fine on a normal weekday. However, during finals week or around the time that classes start having exams, that design is dismal. Starbucks in ECL has a very short area for a line to form, closing in on about 6 people maximum. When the line gets longer than that, chaos occurs. Occasionally, the line for Starbucks begins to stretch longer and longer, until it practically reaches the front entrance of the library. This design is not practical, and a better queueing design needs to be implemented to eliminate the safety hazards that are created during busy library days.
