Infinite Study

There is no end to study; there is no end to learning. If one can retire from college without further study, I think one is wiser than a life of study. If one is satisfied with a certain amount of study, I think one is wise. There is no end to greed. But to keep the desire to study is as young as to try new things. So, it is generally encouraged to spend time, effort, and money on knowledge and technology. That is why the desire to know and to make is instilled in young man the desire to improve.

Even so, I am increasingly worried about how to study. How can I learn a technical book? How can I spend my limited time? How can I keep myself motivated? Recently, in particular, what I have studied on my own has become neglected, and I only learn what I have learned at work. I think it’s good that I am learning technology at work.

However, up until now, in addition to studying at school, I have always studied by myself. It may be enough just to review my work knowledge. Compulsory education, university education, and new employee education may be sufficient methods of study. However, since study methods have changed with proficiency, there should be study methods for people in their 30s. How can I study to improve my development skills?

One of the things I noticed was the breadth of thinking. When you build a system, you first think about various functions. If you think about it, you can implement it. If you think about it, you can realize it. Increase the number of things you can think about. You accumulate the functions you need for the system and record them as design knowledge. This was also the case when I was in the Department of Architecture. With this in mind, I decided to create and publish a DB to accumulate design knowledge. This is a curation media for development that records implementation, realization, and references.

I think this is the best way for people in their 30s to study. If they decide to create something, design it, and then create it, it becomes work. If they decide on a subject to study, they will naturally acquire knowledge. This is the best way to study.
