Why is hiring a mowing service better than mowing the lawn yourself?

First, let’s talk about the costs. You may think that buying a lawn mower once is much cheaper than having to pay occasionally for a mowing service, but that’s not really the case. There are many details that you must take into account. To buy a quality lawn mower you need to invest at least $150. You may argue that there are cheaper models, or that you could find a used one. But tack on the oil, gas and repairs and you might be looking at the same price. So let’s sum it up to $150.

Additionally, if you don’t own a garage or another space to store the mower you will have to buy a shed. It would cost around $1, 000 including the installation. The alternative is to leave your mower outside, which really isn’t an option unless you want to invest $150 every season for a new one.

Time is the most valuable thing you have. The good thing is that you have the opportunity to use it as you want. So the next time your lawn needs mowing think whether you want to spend an hour sweating in your backyard or are there some other things, which you will enjoy more? Because the only time, which is not wasted is the time you’ve enjoyed wasting.
