PhotographyTalk Scholarship

Photography has impacted my life immensely, through an image that I took I was able to share my artwork on how I perceive the world by taking pictures of my artwork. It has helped me express myself more creatively and artistically with others on social media, and has helped me find myself through it all.
My greatest photography strength would be being able to understand how to use the tools on my phone to help capture the essence of the scenery. Also, how to focus on my target by blurring out the background. I’d say that my greatest weakness is using the black and white filter. However, I will achieve this obstacle after all, the more you practice, the better you will get.
Five years from now I see myself in Washington studying to become a future business lawyer in Washington. I will still be drawing and painting taking photographs of each piece I make so it could be shared to the world for those who wish to see my outlook on life and its beauty.
I intend to improve the world by taking a photograph of what is in plain sight. To show the beauty that can come from the simplest things that surround us. The value of the world that we live in and how beautiful it is. Only when we can accept the world in its entity is when we can start improving what is needed to improve.
I deserve this scholarship because my first year in college wasn’t as high as I wished it would be I struggled to find money to pay for college while keeping my grades up. Moreover, I am still struggling to find enough money to help fund what i owe. I have learned from my mistakes, which is why I want to be awarded the Photography talks scholarship. in earning the award, I will be able to overcome this big obstacle and keep my family proud. I have recently been added to the dean’s list as one of the top students with academic excellence, and I wish to continue to stay on top. This scholarship will not only help me stay on top of my game, but it will also motivate me to keep on taking pictures of my future successes and the beauty that the world has to offer.
