How Bashing the New Eat Bulaga Hosts Actually Helps Them

If you are one of the bashers of Paolo Contis, Buboy Villar, Betong Sumaya, and the twins Mavy and Cassy Legaspi, the new hosts of Eat Bulaga, you might want to think twice before posting negative comments online. Why? Because you are actually helping them gain more popularity and exposure by doing so. Let me explain how.

Eat Bulaga is the longest-running noontime show in the Philippines, with a loyal fan base and a huge influence on the culture and entertainment industry. For decades, it was hosted by the legendary trio of Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon, along with other comedians and celebrities who became known as Dabarkads. However, in a shocking turn of events, the original hosts resigned from the show last month, citing personal and professional reasons.

This left a big void in the program, which needed to be filled by new hosts who could carry on the legacy and tradition of Eat Bulaga. The management of Television and Production Exponents Inc. (TAPE Inc.), the production company behind the show, announced that they have chosen Paolo Contis, Betong Sumaya, Buboy Villar, Cassy Legaspi, Mavy Legaspi, and Alexa Miro as the new faces of Eat Bulaga.

The announcement was met with mixed reactions from the public. Some were supportive and curious about how the new hosts would fare in their roles. Others were skeptical and doubtful about their capabilities and charisma. And some were downright hostile and hateful, bashing them for being unworthy and undeserving of replacing the iconic Dabarkads.

But here’s the thing: every time you bash them online, you are actually giving them more attention and publicity. You are making them trend on social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook. You are generating more views and clicks for their videos and articles on YouTube and other websites. You are creating more buzz and interest for their show and their careers.

In other words, you are giving them free promotion and exposure. And in the entertainment industry, that is very valuable and beneficial. It can help them gain more fans and followers, more endorsements and projects, more opportunities and income. It can also help them improve their skills and talents, as they learn from their mistakes and feedback.

So if you really want to hurt them or make them fail, you should just ignore them or boycott their show. Don’t watch it, don’t talk about it, don’t share it. That way, they will lose their relevance and appeal. They will fade into obscurity and irrelevance.

But if you bash them online, you are actually doing them a favor. You are helping them grow and succeed. You are making them more popular and influential.

So think about it: do you really want to bash them or boost them?

The choice is yours.
