College experience

College has become an essential part of life. Many people recommend attending college because without a degree there will be many obstacles in life that you will have to overcome. A college education can open many doors in a person’s search for a career. Additionally, college will also help in preparing a person for an independent living and becoming more mature as they enter adulthood. Nevertheless, although going to college might be very time consuming, it also is knows as the place where you have the best time of your life. These are three reasons why I personally think everyone should go to college.

It is clear that without a degree it is difficult to find a well paid job. This means that if you go to college and get a degree, you most likely secure your future with a good job. This can lead to many other things in life, such as to provide social and economic stability. “People that have a college degree are hired in at a higher pay and are considered to be much more employable.” (1 stated by Reasons for going to College). This means that a person who graduated from college would be more likely to be offered employment than another who did not attend college or did not earn a degree. In most cases it’s known that as a person’s level of education and knowledge increases, they become more economically stable.

In addition, one of the most important things you learn in college is how to become independent. When you leave high school and go to college you learn how to live on your own. You need to learn to wake up by yourself, make your own food, pay your own bills and so much more. It is that time in life where you see how much your parents actually do for you. You learn how it is to be a responsible citizen and act in a proper way. It is mostly known as the transition in life where you turn from a petty teenager into a mature adult.

Lastly, you should know that no matter what happens, college will be the best time of your life. It is the place where you don’t constantly have someone watching over you, it is the time when you can be free and do whatever you want. It also is the time where you create friendships and relationships that usually last a lifetime. It’s when you can basically be you and live life to the fullest. It’s the time where you do thing you have wanted to do all your life; things like driving, living on your own, drinking, voting, find your life partner etc…

Basically, by now you probably have come to realization how important college is. Not only do you secure a good future but you also learn to be an adult. Image doing both of these but still having the best time of your life. Just imagine having to expand you knowledge with your closest friends (which whom you live with) and doing whatever you want. No one can tell you who to be or what to do in college. In conclusion, one of the most important things you can do in life is attend college and attain a degree.
