Single Line Tanka Inspired by the Day 27 Prompt: “Questioning the Critical Mind”

Diasporic synchronistic collaboration connect collective consciousness through brain waves' unlimited potential

As I discussed the other day in my story in SYNERGY,

this “promptsponsive” tanka did not leap off the page. I woke a few times during the night with ideas starting to coalesce into a poem. When I first put pen to paper this morning this 5/7/5/7/7 tanka emerged:

While I liked it, it did not reflect my inspirational thoughts.

Frankly, these days I rarely question my critical thinking when I arrive at a conclusion. What occurred to me from the prompt though is that many of my critical thoughts lately arise with the help of others, sometimes specifically sought and very often lately from spontaneous synchronicity between myself and others.

There were words that I wanted to use that contain too many syllables to fit into the 5-line structure so I shifted to the 31-syllable unbroken line format, which I often use to evoke another metaphorical layer of connection, which thematically I wanted to portray, for example:
