Perfection Distorts Your Mind From Reality

“Nothing is perfect. Perfect is a fantasy!” ~ Jane The Virgin

When it comes to perfection, we all want it. We want a perfect body, perfect clothes, perfect lifestyle, perfect social life, perfect everything in every aspect of one’s life! And people tell you a fair amount of times that life isn’t perfect and neither are people yet in so many ways with life’s moments, prove that they don’t see all the ways they are expecting and demanding perfection on them, on their kids, students, strangers. And yet they don’t even realize how much that impacts them from then and years from that moment!

And we think perfection still exists and that it can be a good thing when viewed in a particular perspective. Well for me, I’ve only experienced the negative effects of it and I have suffered and continue to with depression and some anxiety and some deep personal stuff I will most likely discuss further in another post.

For another thought, I would like to see any company make an advertisement of ghost product but use no filters or photoshop! I want it to be authentic and no editing! Just a deal, authentic and living human being just as they are wearing the product!

Can you think of how many people in our society from ages 5–18 and sometimes even older than 18; be affected negatively by the perfected, photoshopped advertisements of makeup, clothes, perfume products?

Now what do you wanna do to make some small changes or big changes to changing this issue results?
